And to track your next steps and progress, all workout sessions, workouts and class availability are tracked online or via the rival sports training phone app… helping you take control of your fitness progress.
This new Westville fitness and training facility is owned by West Deptford residents Ryan Vena and Matt Connell.. who bring their own fitness experience and a talented staff to help you achieve your goals.

Youth Training
The talented staff at Rival Sports Training is led by co-owner Ryan Venna, who is a 10 year Arena Football League Quarterback who played for our local Philadelphia Soul, and other teams.
At Colgate University, Ryan was a three time MVP for the Patriot League, earning recognition as one of the league’s most accomplished quarterbacks.
Now Ryan coaches youth football locally for the GC Hawks, bringing high level experience and leadership to every Rival Sports Training session.

For youth (ages 6 to 17), the small group training sessions as well as one-on-one personal training focuses on skill refinement, agility and sport specific mastery.
Moving through the Rivals Rising Stars Program, young athletes receive structured coaching that builds confidence, resilience and competitive excellence.

Adult Training & Fitness
Adults seeking high impact fitness can access small group classes such as HIIT, Butts & Guts, Total Body and coming soon will be Yoga… alongside one-on-one personal training for customized strength and endurance development.
Rival Sports Training welcomes long-time Crunch coach and local fitness guru, Karrie Kettlebell, who brings years of experience in fitness and small-group training to lead some of our RST adult classes.

Her expertise further enhances the training programs, ensuring every participant receives top-tier coaching and motivation.
Karrie will also design and lead the Luna Strength Program, a high-impact training initiative that empowers adults to build strength, endurance, and confidence through structured workouts/classes and expert coaching.
In addition, Rival Sports Training Westville has brought Big Lou on board… Lou is a trainer from the recently closed Esporta gym in Woodbury Heights and is also a youth football coach for Deptford. He will be running adult group sessions, as well as youth sessions.

With decades of experience at the highest levels of sports and fitness, the entire Rival Sports coaching team delivers pro-level insights, strategic training methods, and a deep understanding of athletic progression.
Rival Sports Training is where athletes rise, refine their skills, and unlock their full potential—whether on the field, court, or in life.
And there’s much more to come as they continuously expand programs to bring the best training opportunities to the Westville area community. More trainers will be introduced soon, as our classes attendance grows.
